Hospitality — Chinatown
Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown is the third Four Points to open in Malaysia and boasts 318 rooms and suites with views overlooking the expanse of Chinatown and the city of Kuala Lumpur. Waltex supplied and installed all the wallcoverings for this hotel including all the bedhead feature walls and 2,626 square feet of meeting space. For this project, the client had engaged local creative brand Lokamade to create historical scenes of a bustling Chinatown, spotted with trishaws and bicycles in the old days Chinatown was originally known for — “Chee Cheong Kai” (Starch Factory Street), a tapioca-producing district. Waltex used this artwork to create a bespoke wall finish, printed on a custom coloured Verona pattern wallcovering with the below specifications.
