Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre, an IHG Hotel

Waltex once again worked with renowned international interior and architectural design firm the G.A Group to supply and install wallcoverings in 320 guest rooms and suites at IGH Hotels & Resorts’ first Crowne Plaza Hotel in Malaysia. Situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the hotel offers a variety of rooms and suites tailored to the modern traveler.

Working in collaboration with the contractor Jalex Sdn Bhd, Waltex supplied and installed all the wallcoverings for the guest rooms that range from 36 to 146 square meters. For the bed head feature wall, a cleverly designed geometric element is made to look 3-dimensional and then printed onto our high durability, fully certified Type I 15 Oz wallcoverings in a cool, grey tone. As for the general walls, the same base material without a print is applied.

Over in the lift lobby areas, a vinyl on fabric-backed wallcovering in a dark tone is selected from our Sellers & Josephson collection.  These wallpapers are engineered to be tear and scratch resistant, ensuring they withstand the rigours of high-traffic areas. Additionally, they can be easily washed with mild detergent and water, making them ideal for maintaining a clean and pristine appearance in the hotel’s corridors and common areas. This combination of durability and ease of maintenance ensures that the hotel maintains its sophisticated ambiance and welcoming environment for guests.
